Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a customer-oriented, energetic, results-driven, and professional New Car & PreOwned Sales Consultant. This position is responsible for ensuring an extraordinary client experience while creating a long-lasting relationship. This position will assist clients from the beginning to the end of the purchase and ownership of New Vehicles. The New Car & PreOwned Sales Consultant is extremely knowledgeable about our vehicles and services, the industry, and our market, including vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety features and functions, and financing options for both new and used vehicle inventories.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, one year of sales experience in the automotive industry (Infiniti preferred), excellent customer service skills, a confident and outgoing personality, a professional appearance, and great communication skills. He or she must be self-motivated with a willingness to continuously prospect to sell a minimum quota (or more!) on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new and current clients.
  • Follow up with clients and respond to new inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Develops buyers by building a strong rapport with customers and working to achieve a long-lasting relationship.
  • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyers' requirements and interests; Suggest and match interests to various models.
  • Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
  • Work in partnership with the F&I Team to resolve any outstanding contracts or incomplete deals.
  • Ability to meet, maintain, and/or exceed sales goals monthly.
  • Provide sales management analysis by completing reports.
  • Have continuous knowledge of products and market trends.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Preferred
  • Minimum 1-year experience in automotive sales
  • Must be a self-starter and proactive
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Proficient in computer technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
